One of my client request to redirect all user registration from Joomla registration to Virtuemart registration form automatically. The main reason is to creating a consitent registration process for Virtuemart shopper and ensure that all the shopper data is well filled into Virtuemart data table.
This simple plugin is well worked on Virtuemart V2.x and Joomla V2.5
