As Virtuemart strongly neglects meta data and hardly gives you any freedom working with it, we have developed a Joomla! enhancement giving you all the freedom you need creating Virtuemart meta data.

Yagendoo Virtuemart Meta Manager is an easy-to-use enviroment for creating and managing the meta data of your Virtuemart categories and products. Use our solution to assign individual meta data (meta titles, meta keywords, meta descriptions) to each product – either directly in Virtuemart itself (without any changes to the Virtuemart code, i.e. no hack) or using the Virtuemart Meta Manager component.

This is new in 2.0: Availability of an overview function creating a summary of all products and thus assisting in optimizing the meta data of your Virtuemart Shop. Moreover, the module now provides you with an import and export function.

The import function of the meta data component allows you to generate meta data from the native Virtuemart data: An example for this would be to export the product title as a meta title. If you have already installed a SEO component, you can import the meta data entered there to the Yagendoo Virtuemart Meta Manager.

The last import option is to import data from csv or xml files. This method allows you to insert large data volumes in a single step. The Meta Manager offers several functions for creating and simplifying this process. All data entered up to this date can also be exported to xml or csv.
